US Steel Files 337 Complaint Targeting Carbon and Alloy Steel Products from China

On April 26, 2016, US Steel filed a complaint targeting carbon and alloy steel products from China. The complaint names as Respondents most carbon and alloy steel producers in China. The complaint alleges three unfair acts: 1) price fixing and controlling output; 2) misappropriation of US Steel’s trade secrets; and 3) falsifying the origins of Chinese steel.
